Why would I need Pothole Insurance?

Potholes are a common cause of vehicle damage, particularly to tyres, alloy wheels and suspension.

Without separate pothole cover, you may have to pay the repair bill yourself or try to recover your costs from the relevant local authority. This can take time and may not always be successful. Otherwise, you will have to claim from your motor insurer, which may affect your no-claim discount and next year’s renewal premium.

Pothole Insurance gives you a more straightforward route to claim reimbursement for eligible repair costs, provided the claim meets the policy terms.
